We invite you to worship with us this Sunday.
We are located at 302 South Broadway in Glasgow, KY.
F.A.Q.
How Should I Dress?
Comfortably! We have one clothing rule here at HHCC...wear clothes! Whether you decide to wear anything from jeans, t-shirts, and shorts, to dresses, a suit, and a tie, you'll fit right in!
What time are your services? How long do they last?
We meet every Sunday morning at 8:30 am and 10:30 am, and on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. Each service lasts for approximately 60-70 minutes.
What does a typical service look like? What should I expect?
Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the service's scheduled start time to allow yourself time for parking and to find a seat. You may also wish to check your children into HHCC KIDZ, which is centrally located in our facility and is clearly marked on the front of the building. Then, feel free to stop by our coffee bar and grab a hot cappuccino, coffee, soft drink, and/or a delicious donut (all proceeds from our coffee bar sales go to support ministries within the church or local charitable foundations). Our friendly Connect Team will be wearing lanyards; feel free to approach any of these wonderful volunteers if you need any help finding anything or if you have any questions!
Approximately five minutes before each service, you will see a countdown on the screens in the worship center and in the foyer area. This will let you know that the service will begin shortly. Once the countdown ends, the HHCC worship team will begin the service with lively music and praise. After the first song, there will be a brief welcome and announcements, and an offering will be collected by our usher teams. The monies collected in our offerings are used to fund not only our day-to-day operating expenses, but more importantly they fund our outreach ministries, including (but not limited to): Single Mothers' Oil Change and Car Wash, Summerfest, Jesus Prom, Room In The Inn (homeless ministry), Helping Hands Food Pantry, and charities/charitable foundations in our community.
Following worship, pastor Chad Lockhart will deliver a biblically-centered message, focused on the gospel of Jesus Christ, that encourages you to follow Jesus and apply His words and teachings to your everyday life. At the end of each message, there will be an altar call in which the church comes together for prayer, and is the opportunity for those that have chosen to follow Christ to respond to the gospel. Following the altar call, we celebrate baptisms, and those that have been baptized will light a bulb on our "light of the world" display in the foyer!
If you didn't receive your free gift on your way in, please stop by the connect desk after the service to turn in your Connect Card and get your free gift for choosing to join us for worship!
Is childcare available? What about Sunday School?
Centrally located in our facility, parents will find that both HHCC KIDZ Children's Ministry and nursery is available at our 8:30am and 10:30am Sunday services. Our nursery is for children 3 and under, and HHCC KIDZ Children's Ministry uses age-graded curriculum for kids from pre-school to sixth grade. We love and adore our kids at HHCC, and we pride ourselves in giving all our children the biblical truths that help them to develop a deep, meaningful, and thriving relationship with Jesus from an early age.
If you are a parent that would like to know more about HHCC Kidz Children's Ministry, or if you have any questions that you would like answered, please feel free to contact our Lead Children's Minister, Ms. Miranda Birge by calling (270) 361-5117, x3, or email at miranda.birge@highlandhillschurch.com
Does Highland Hills have anything for youth/teens?
Yes! We have a thriving and exciting ministry for teens at HHCC! Led by Andy and Timeka Houchens, the HHCC Youth Ministry teaches teen students (middle school through high school) the truths of God's word. Teenagers in today's time face unique challenges that previous generations couldn't begin to imagine! The HHCC Youth Ministry helps our teens by giving them the truth of Jesus, who He is, and how He can lead them through making sound decisions and choices in some of the most important years of their lives. Plus, they have a LOT of fun!
You can contact Timeka Houchens by calling (270) 361-5117, x2, or by email at timeka.houchens@highlandhillschurch.com
Do you have mid-week services?
We do! Our Wednesday night worship services begin at 6:30pm and look are very similar to our Sunday morning worship services. Nursery and HHCC Kidz are available on Wednesday nights, and HHCC Youth also meet on Wednesday nights.
What is the music like?
The HHCC Worship Teams combine a modern praise and musical style with compelling lyrics that emphasize the power of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Highland Hills Church is a place for ALL people, and we encourage you to come and experience worship with us.
